A sample six-session journey

Students do not just watch the magic. They learn to own it.

The exact sequence can be adapted to age, schedule, and school priorities while preserving a clear arc from curiosity to explanation and confident presentation.

01

Secrets hidden in numbers

Mind-reading with binary numbers, patterns, and the idea of an algorithm.

02

Impossible predictions

The 1089 mystery, calendar calculation, and the structure behind a perfect reveal.

03

The magic of chance

Probability surprises, strategic choices, and why intuition sometimes misleads us.

04

Cards, codes, and communication

How mathematical structure lets a team communicate more than seems possible.

05

Invent like a mathematician

Students adapt a method, test it, explain it, and make the effect their own.

06

The MathMagic Showcase

A joyful final session in which students become the mathematical performers.

What students practice

Curiosity becomes mathematical agency.

  • Recognizing and extending patterns
  • Explaining why a method works
  • Thinking algorithmically
  • Testing ideas and learning from failure
  • Communicating reasoning with confidence
  • Experiencing mathematics as a creative act

Student & family event

MathMagic Live

A highly interactive 45–60 minute show where the audience reads minds, predicts numbers, and uncovers the mathematics behind each effect.

Professional development

Math Magic in the Classroom

A practical workshop giving teachers memorable demonstrations, games, and investigations that generate participation and deeper reasoning.

Custom enrichment

Probability, Puzzles & Strategy

A flexible single-session or multi-week program built from probability surprises, strategic games, puzzles, and age-appropriate mathematical challenges.

AF

Where the program began

Inspired by a real school math club.

Asaf developed much of this approach while volunteering in the math club at his son’s elementary school. Watching students light up around a surprising problem reinforced a simple conviction: children are ready for deep ideas when those ideas arrive through curiosity, play, and genuine discovery.

For schools, districts, and community organizations

Let’s create a mathematical experience students will talk about.
